Wayne Central Primary School

Student birthdays are celebrated in a variety of ways here at Wayne Primary. These may include birthday signs, crowns, songs, etc. Students will have their birthday announced during morning announcements and will receive a birthday card from the principal and assistant principal. Parents are welcome to reach out to their child’s teacher to set up a time to read to the class. If parents are unable to come in, they may send a book in for the teacher to read. We ask that families do not send in anything for birthdays (food items, goody bags, birthday invitations, etc.).   We also ask that families to not send or bring in food or goody bags/other items for holiday celebrations.  

Daily snacks that are brought in cannot be shared due to allergies and the importance of maintaining a safe environment. Visitors for lunch may bring food for their child only. Please understand that the safety of all children is our priority. Thank you.
